Instagram for fundraising and development

It’s worth your time today to grab an Instagram app and get an Instagram account for your charity, ministry or nonprofit.

Instagram announced this week that Instagram profiles are finally and officially on the web. You can read about it on their blog.

Previously, there were unofficial apps that allowed web browsing for Instagram photos, but now it’s the real deal. When you combine this expansion with their recent explosive growth and connection with Facebook, it’s just a wise move to reserve your spot.

Instagram says that companies can sign up for an account, so what’s stopping you?.

As we talked about a few weeks ago, Instagram has more daily users than Twitter. That means it’s too big to ignore. If you have a Twitter account, why not have an Instagram account?

You can’t risk missing out if Instagram continues to grow. And you don’t have to worry about exactly what your strategy will be to sign up. Sign up now and figure it out as you go along. How often do you get that opportunity?

Who knows where Instagram will go. If it fizzles, no loss. If it becomes the hot item, you have your spot reserved.

Go for it.

Let me know what you do . . . and send me a photo! I love hearing (and seeing) what you’re up to!
