I love data. Data isn’t just numbers anymore. It’s also facts and statistics. It’s any information we can gather or infer. Data builds relationships and creates insights. Great data accurately answers our questions: who? what? when? where? how? I love prowling around through donor databases looking for stories, patterns and a-ha’s. I’m so excited to be part of Oneicity, where I can help you discover what your donors are saying.
My passion for non-profit was born nearly 20 years ago out of my first non-profit work experience where I saw incredible needs being met with great compassion in an environment of grace. I decided then and there that I wanted to use my skills to do more for people in need.
Two years later, I was blessed to find work at a marketing and direct response agency serving Christian non-profits around the country. In my 15 years there, I witnessed how what we were doing could really, truly make a difference for people all over the world. If I did my job right, someone could get a drink of water or a Bible or have a place to sleep. Amazing and humbling!
At the agency, I held positions in both the client services and marketing intelligence departments. Also during my tenure, I started-up and profitably ran a small sister company that provided high-quality print production, product fulfillment and data services for non-profits and local businesses.
Over the years, I served over 60 different organizations including rescue missions, relief and development ministries, family policy councils, child sponsorship organizations, missionary-sending ministries, rehab centers, prison ministries, Christian camps, public schools, libraries and many more.
Like most of you, I’ve been to the School of Hard Knocks, where I majored in the principles of reaping and sowing. And I have a BA in Psychology from University of Washington.
I am blessed to live and work right where I grew up—on an island in the Puget Sound just a ferry boat ride outside of Seattle. I love laughter, reading, spicy food, my two dogs and cats, geocaching and all kinds of music. More than anything, I love to spend time with my husband and my children who are my sweetest gifts from God.
